What We Do

As globalization plays an increasing role in North Carolina, we need current and future leaders who understand how to work with the rest of the world.

The Center’s role is to be a catalyst. We take delegations of North Carolina policy leaders and teachers abroad on very deliberate, intensive, short-term study programs. The goal is to give participants a hands-on, in-depth understanding of another culture and a global issue. We connect North Carolinians with the best in the world so that they bring home ideas and perspectives to help position our state for the global economy.
